urbanscapes
2016 - 2017
Urbanscapes are a direct reflection of my infatuation with the Bay Area through the use of saturated color relationships, playful representations of natural textures, and simplified structural shapes. I am quite intrigued and influenced by the history of landscape painting in the Bay Area and greatly admire other contemporary Bay Area painters such as Wayne Thiebaud and Richard Diebenkorn.
