San Francisco:
First Impressions
2015
I never imagined I would find myself painting landscapes until I arrived in San Francisco about three years ago. I became completely enamored by spaces where urban density meets the humble beauty of nature. I’m particularly drawn to the colors and patterns of tree trunks, and the way they work together with the surrounding architectural landscape to create new perspectives. These are some of my early "first impression" Bay Area landscape paintings from my first year of living in San Francisco.
